Forcewinder FORCEWINDER XR-TILT FORWARD AIR CLEANER KITS
A hot item with cool looks! Forcewinder “XR” and “XR-2” forward
mounted Air Intake System. Simple to install, kits come complete with
gauze air filter, stainless Allen bolts gaskets, and a Dry Charger
weather inhibiting filter wrap. “XR” and “XR Big Daddy” kits come
with a crankcase breather filter. The “XR-2” kits are made for use on
bikes with the “Through-The-Head” breather system and come with
polished billet aluminum breathers. All kits for carburetor equipped
models bolt to the OEM carburetor. An optional adapter must be
ordered separately to suit S&S Super “E”, Super “G”, Mikuni HSR
42 or Mikuni HSR45 carburetors. Forcewinder claims that the airflow
can be increased to such a degree that they strongly recommend the
use of the appropriate DynoJet jet-kit to compensate and recalibrate
the carburetor for maximum performance. Available with polished
aluminum- or high-gloss black powder coated aluminum elbow for
Buell, Evolution Sportster, Evolution Big-Twin, and Twin-Cam models.
Installation requires an air cleaner mounting bracket that must be
ordered separately.
